Dressed Wedding Chairs

I have just been to see Ana from S-linen, the lovely lady who supplies all my wedding linen  and I  picked up a few of the latest ideas and styles for dressing wedding chairs for your ceremony or reception for the coming year.

At the moment brides seem to be going for more top dressing using chair hoods and drapes, and embellishing them with fringing and jewels, or adding a satin or organza bows in a deeper or contrasting colour, or both.

Mixing textures seems to be very popular and embellished materials are looking to be in vogue for spring and summer.

If your bridal budget will not stetch to chair covers then, by just adding an organza bow it is an easy but simple way to add a splash of your wedding colour.

This beautiful fine organza ribbon with a woven wire edge is available in a variety of colours and is ideal for smartening up your wedding chairs.

Just pull the bow into shape. Once tied, the wire edge will help to stop the bow drooping and keep its shape throughout the wedding day.

Another simple idea is to add the placename tags to your wedding chairs, using string, lace or ribbon to attach them to the chairs.

These simple elegant designs will quickly enhance any uninspiring wedding chair.
