Your wedding flowers will be one of the most important elements of your wedding. So finding the right florist who understands your wedding flower requirements  within your wedding budget is not an easy task.

Although most  florists can quickly understand your requirements, if you provide them with swatches of material  from your dresses, and any pictures or ideas you have collected, they can often come up with some fantastic floral designs and suggestions, and keep within your wedding budget.

Here are 10 important questions to ask your wedding florist.

  1.  Are you available for my chosen wedding date?
  2. Given my floral plans, from ceremony through to reception, and my available budget, are you able to meet all my floral requirements?
  3. Do you have a portfolio of previous work I can look through?
  4. What do you consider your overall wedding style is?
  5. Are you familiar with the chosen wedding venue?
  6. Are my chosen flowers in season and can you match them to my colour theme?
  7. Do you charge extra for delivery or for moving arrangements?
  8. Will you detail each individual arrangement or do a mock up of one or two arrangements?
  9. What are the deposit requirements and when is the final balance due?
  10. What is the refund/cancellation process?

One more tip, I always feel if your florist keeps encouraging you to spend more and more money then they may not be right.
