Flower Girls

Most brides are  trying to save a little and it is not easy to make savings when planning a wedding.  The good news is that the high street  is starting to look at the wedding market seriously, with many launching a range of cute flower girl dresses as part of their wedding collection.

They are just fabulous, with an excellent sense of style for any little princess, and the prices are ideal for a wedding on a budget.

The main picture shows an elegant display of cute flower girl dresses from John Lewis, all featuring a sleeveless design, pretty oversized ribbon tied around the waistline and a full bodied skirt, and all three are ideal for your cute flower girl.

Each dress has its own individuality from an empire line lace design, a fairy tale lace overlay, to a knee length mesh under skirt. All three are totally adorable in their own special way.

Monsoon has a great range of flower girl dresses, and one of  my favourite choices from the Monsoon flower girl range is this best seller Lilly flower dress, which is available in several different shades to suit yourwedding colour palette. I just love the cute style with the sweet contrasting flower detail on the bodice and skirt, and the pretty bow detail and a silky tie at the back. This dress is the perfect choice for a little princess, especially if the wedding  colour is blue.

Another Monsoon favourite for me is this Rosie Cascade Dress, beautifully embellished with 3D flower detail on the skirt, and just ideal for a spring or summer wedding. If you are looking for a more angelic flower girl look then this classic Estella designed dress, with a full layered skirt with mesh overlay and a crochet bodice is the one. It includes a button fastening and a silky bow at the back. Worn with delicate ballerina pumps, or satin shoes and a little stylish cardigan will complete the look.

Daisy dress

Bhs, one of the great high street names, is also stocking fabulous flower girl dresses. Their spring/summer collection is very stylish and elegant, including some lovely wedding colours.  You will find the collection within most wedding budgets, plus you can get matching cardigan, shrugs, jewellery and shoes to complete the outfit.  I just love their Daisy flower girl dress which is embellished in delicate tulle flowers. This gorgeous dress just blossoms with the stunning five tulle flowers on the bodice which are scattered with matching sequins. The skirt is enchanting with removable petals and layers of netting, making this the perfect dress for every young bridesmaid.  The dress is available in ivory and is embellished in several colours, I have chosen my favourite conflower blue, melot or ivory flowers and petals.

Cute flower girl

Debenhams remembers that  bridesmaids are the ultimate wedding accessory, especially cute little flower girls who bring a little  bit of fairytale magic to a wedding. So at  Debenhams dressing flower girls to impress cannot be simpler, especially with their fabulous selection of gorgeous flower girl dresses.

I adore this Pearce II Fionda little girl’s ivory bridesmaid dress  from the Pearce II Fionda designer range, styled in sheer organza, which covers a row of appliqued flowers across the front of its fitted top, with a satin bow at the waist and ribbon trims running parallel to the hem. Match in with this Pearce II Fionda ivory coloured cropped cardigan, boasting fabulous frill trims and a sprinkling of bead embellishments. This detailed cardigan adds the finishing touch. Add these cute glitter design ivory pumps, featuring a with a bow front to finish the outfit, without stretching the budget,

If you shop carefully, you will find these cute flower girl styles are suddenly becoming more affordable and for most little flower girls these beautiful dresses can often be recycled for other occasions.

Personally, I think the hardest wedding task for any bride will not be choosing the right flower girl dresses for these cute little girls but actually selecting the chosen few in the first place.

Luck, love and happiness,

Norah
