Carlton Towers Entrance

Carlton Towers is a privately owned magnificent Victorian Gothic country house, which is available all year round for weddings. I was there earlier in the year delivering gold candelabras and dressing the ceremony chairs for a beautiful Valentine wedding for Zoe and Gavin.  Here are a few wedding decorations ideas for this Gothic style wedding venue.

Carlton Towers Front Door

A sweeping stone staircase leads up to a magnificent entrance, and as evening draws in the steps are lit by tiny pin lights draped around the ornate stone banisters.

The large wooden doorway makes a fabulous wedding entrance.

Inside the hallway is adorned with dark wood leading into a spectacular ceremony room, with elaborate gold chandeliers hanging down the centre of the wedding aisle.

Two large floral pedestals dress the start of the wedding aisle.  Norah Sleep dressed chairs are tied with gold organza, adding a splash of delicate gold, in-keeping with the sumptuously opulent gold decor of the room.

The ceremony room was completed by several beautiful floral arrangements.

Two imposing stone fireplaces are the focal point of the wedding reception room, these are embellished with a heart and two pink floral wreaths.

Norah’s gold candelabras adorned the tables, decorated with ivory tapered candles and delicate ivory and pink roses.

Each place name is denoted by a gold hand written card, embellished with a tiny pearl heart.

A white and gold post box was used to collect wedding cards.

Finally a fabulous pair of cream wedding wellies with soft pink linings and a large gold satin bow were left on the stone window sill, ready and waiting for the honeymoon.

I do hope you find some wedding inspiration for your wedding from these little details.
